Besides the dropping temps in many regions, some of us are just always feeling cold. It could prove more serious than you may think. Some people just always say they are feeling cold. Here is a list of some possible reasons:
* Conditions and diseases like Peripheral Neuropathy, Peripheral Artery Disease, Hypothyroidism, flu, Anorexia Nervosa, Kidney Disease, and Raynaud's Phenomenon.
* You may not be getting enough Vitamin B12- You can eat eggs, fish, and chicken. Cereals and some other foods are fortified with it as well.
* Not getting enough iron. This is caused by a poor diet, blood loss, or that your body can't absorb it. The best source is red meat. Also pork, fish and poultry. Some breads, cereal, soybeans, chickpeas, and even dark green leafy vegetables.
* Anemia- This occurs when you don't have enough healthy red blood cells. Symptoms are feeling weak and tired, short of breath, dizzy, and feeling cold.
* Hypopituitarism - This happens when your pituitary gland isn't making enough of certain hormones. You may be sensitive to cold or hard for you to stay warm. You may lose some pounds, get anemia, or lose your appetite.
You probably have none of these but I thought it interesting that feeling cold may mean you have some other malady..

I think I'm a freak of nature. I rarely feel cold, and that's only when I'm really tired.

My husband is always cold. He's on blood thinners; and I think that's the reason. Have a great day.
