New worker at Dollar General store.

I went to the closest Dollar General store to me yesterday. There was a new cashier at the store. I do not know how long he will be staying there. I do not know if he rang everything up correctly. With what I got; it should have come closer to 40 dollars. It only came to under 27 dollars. I think he was just learning how to run a cash register.

Maybe you got a discount you didn't notice? Did you read your recipe?

@Scrapper88 It usually prints out where you can grab it after you pay, or you can ask for it. We always make sure to get one, because we need to make sure we paid right.

I hope he doesn’t get in trouble with his management when the receipts don’t match what is in the cash register.

The things he scanned showed up to be just under 27 dollars. I am not sure if he scanned everything.

Ohhh, That cashier is in trouble. I’d be surprised if he wasn’t fired when the money was counted.

@Scrapper88 I think they change pretty quickly. I guess they don’t pay very much..

If his superiors check the sales closely he might have to repay the amount that was lost.

Uh-oh. If he did that with your stuff, he most likely did that all day. Was he going too fast? Was he just not being thorough? Someone should be supervising him if he's still learning .

I wouldn't say anything this time since he is new. But if it happens again you might want to

I'd go there every day until he gets fired. lol. Hey, why not capitalize on it, right? One man's misfortune sometimes creates an opportunity and I am not one to look a gift horse in the mouth.
