Lovely Saturday so far...

Good afternoon from this side of the planet 
. It was a wonderful sunny day so far. It's 4:40 PM now and we can see clouds now coming. It might or might not rain. I am happy with both. My two loads of laundry are dry and crisp. I washed three bedsheets today.
I started my day late. We watched two back to back movies and slept around 3 in the morning. Bollywood movies are as such long 
.
I woke up at 9:30. Did some deep cleaning around the kitchen in the first half of the day. I had left over dosa batter and chutney. That was enough for a brunch. My younger daughter went out for movie with few friends. They are celebrating post exam . My niece left for some shooting video assignment.
My husband and I are enjoying India and Pakistan cricket match in the World Cup series. It's interesting match so far. Both are strong teams and a cricket match between them is always a blockbuster and the most awaited ones by cricket fans. Very less traffic and crowd on the street today as most are glued to their TV sets for the match .
We have booked table at one nice vegetarian restaurant at 8:30. We have never been there for dinner, but it's one of our most visited ones for lunch. They have a wide spread buffet for lunch. It's the favourite place for my elder daughter. She is the dessert queen and this place offers more than two dozens of dessert options. She fills herself with desserts whenever we go there. I am surely going to miss her tonight. Anyways, we will go back there again when she comes for vacation. We are taking our niece as she has never been there. Also called our nephew to join us. His college is nearby to the restaurant and we can pick him up from his hostel. I hope that their dinner buffet is as grand and delicious as their lunch
So, not much of cooking there for today. There are few dirty dishes in the sink , but I am not in a mood to attend to them. I want to lazy around for a while. I will see if I want to clean them in the match break or before going to bed.
That's all for the blabbering here . Hope everyone is happy and healthy in their myLot corner

We have a laundry close by. Bedsheets for washing and clothes for ironing are sent there.
Talking about buffets I too am a dessert queen. I have always gone more for desserts than actual food I am sure the lot of your will enjoy your dinner. Think of me when you are picking your dessert (lol)

@arunima25 Here sofa covers, curtains all go to the laundry.
I have not made malpua since a long time now but being deep fried I hesitate. Never heard of guava brownie

@allknowing It was the first time that even I came across guava brownie. Seems it was really good..My husband and niece praised it. And I did see quite a few people taking a second serving.

I wash most things at home including curtains, bedsheet etc. Only few delicate ones go for drycleaning.
Their dinner buffet was very good but a little below the benchmark that they have set up with their lunch buffet. We felt that we should go for lunch only.
I didn't pick up any dessert. It's festival season and I am saving myself to eat the mahabhog sweets that I will offer on saptami, ashtmi and naumi. I like malpua and that I make for ashtami Pooja. I have to keep my sugar under control to enjoy that

I guess you are right. I am everything but lazy. Their food was amazing. But they had lesser varieties in dinner buffet compared to lunch buffet. And the price was same. So, we decided to better keep going there for lunch.

@just4him Yes. Waiting for another match in the series where India plays. I think it's on Wednesday and being a holiday, I can enjoy it. It's a month long tournament for World Cup. The finale is on 19th November.

My nephew and niece loved the food and ambience. It was their first time to the restaurant. We felt that the lunch buffet there has more options. There were less options for dinner buffet though the price was same. We decided to go to the place only for lunch buffet in the future.
Cricket is like religion in India . And a match with Pakistan is like a blockbuster for all cricket fans across the globe. India won

It was good but not at par with their lunch buffet that we always go for. So, it was a bit of disappointment. But anyways, it was good ambience and good company. Food was good but they have set up a high benchmark with their lunch buffet.

Yes, I did. Late night movie, Cricket match, Mahalaya puja and a dinner outing kept us busy on the weekend.
