Push That Danged Button People!

Wednesday I called Sparklight which is our local cable company. My daughter had been having trouble viewing cable on the new television we have downstairs. My grandson had verified it was the cable and not the television. A nice lady did some troubleshooting and found it was a video issue and a cable guy would need to come out to look further. She scheduled us for the next day (Thursday)between 1p. and 5p. since we don't do mornings. Thursday we were very patient. Things came up but I didn't make one phone call, waiting for the cable guy's precall before he came out. The hours ticked by--1p., .... 2p., .... 3p., .... 4p. and then it was 5:08p. No call, no cable guy. I called Sparklight. Another nice representative took the call. He responded to my "no one came" with the fact that the previous gal had not hit the all-important 'ENTER' button to verify the call and the scheduling for the next day. I told him "So, you understand that we sit here all day, right?" He said he was sending the appropriate feedback to her superior. I always hate to report people but she needs to learn to push that button. She sounded so nice, confident, and knowledgeable too. Today the automated precall came. The cable guy arrived, put in a new cable box, and away he went. It all goes so smoothly when people do their jobs correctly.
