Since birth, we have never rented a place to live. Not until my evil relatives sold the family house; they did it right after my old man died. It has been more than three years since we rented an apartment. So far, the first landlord has never talked to us and is asking us to leave the place no later than December this year. The sad part is that they just informed us through a letter.
We did not wait to move out in December, so we tried to find a new place, and this is where we are living right now. This second landlord that we have said to my younger brother is a bad speculation. He claimed that we moved out of the old apartment because the place was being paid late or not on time.
I was so surprised and called the attention of the landlord to say that we are not like that. So, I paid him in advance last month and told him that it should not be like this. The payment should be on a monthly basis. I just cannot understand why some landlords are like this.

We have not dealt with landlords in three decades, but you are right they why you never want to deal with one. I heard here they out of hand, luckily I live with family because cannot even imagine how crappy it is now to live.

@Shavkat Bad behavior in that industry seems world wide. Canada having major problems which is funny but not funny. Kind of like here because we have lots of space. Canada very cold though so kind of surprising, but maybe why people cold and just want to huddle, its warmer here but we just straight greedy and could care less about moral things I guess. Sad way to live, I do hope you find a moral place, its not fun living like this.

@crossbones27 Greediness is a part of what humans do. But then, overdoing it can make things worse in the real world.

@Shavkat That's probably a good idea. I'm glad he'll stop saying that. It would annoy me.

I am glad that you were able to do this. My mom's land property is too far away from my place. It is in the countryside, and the land area is almost 4 hectares, but we cannot live there because it is being grabbed by my mom's younger sister. It was being frozen, and it had filed adverse claims against all of the land titles.
