RANT: Have you ever had a bad experience with a landlord?

Since birth, we have never rented a place to live. Not until my evil relatives sold the family house; they did it right after my old man died. It has been more than three years since we rented an apartment. So far, the first landlord has never talked to us and is asking us to leave the place no later than December this year. The sad part is that they just informed us through a letter. We did not wait to move out in December, so we tried to find a new place, and this is where we are living right now. This second landlord that we have said to my younger brother is a bad speculation. He claimed that we moved out of the old apartment because the place was being paid late or not on time. I was so surprised and called the attention of the landlord to say that we are not like that. So, I paid him in advance last month and told him that it should not be like this.
