23 October - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from rainy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA.
I might not love rain as much as I love snow, but right now, I love the rain. After the summer we had without rain, this is a true godsend.
I'm thankful for the ride to the eye center this morning. The surgery was fast and painless. It took a minute, literally. My world is sharp right now. I tried to be on the site when I got home, but the dilation in my right eye made it difficult. I'll be getting off again when I post this as my eye isn't used to the sharp image and hurts a bit from the strain, is my guess.
I'm thankful for the exercise I got when I got home. I did two rounds of each floor and the garage and got all my steps. Normally, I also ride the bike on Monday. I'll work the foot cycle when I get off here and watch more TV.
I'm thankful for a visit with my friend down the hall this morning. She offered, and I accepted a waffle. It was a good time of friendship and chatting.
I'm thankful for the eight hours of sleep I got last night. I think I could have gotten more, but I needed to get up when I did at 4:15 this morning.
I'm thankful for the time I was here today. I'll get the notifications caught up tomorrow, I hope. It will be another busy day.
I'm thankful for the beautiful sunrise this morning. I rarely see a sunrise anymore because I'm on the west side of the building. I captured this while I was waiting for my ride.

@wolfgirl569 Thank you. So, am I. Hopefully, it puts a huge dent in the drought. From what I heard, we're supposed to get a lot of rain this week.

I'm thankful that I worked on my best friend's diamond painting. I'm also thankful that my arm is no longer itching. I had the flu shot last week and it made my itch. It's also no longer sore.

I am very thankful that the garbage was picked up today by the city sanitation department and my new job working at Prime Opinion which pays me based on my ability to completes surveys and receive payments the same day.
