1st Night (Crazy) in Mexico/El Paso

I just lost my house in Michigan, and my brother was living at a friend's place in El Paso, so I take a 3-day Greyhound. Hadn't sleep in days, and when I get there, it was pretty early. I took a nap, and then they all said, "Let's go to Juarez" adding my friend's girlfriend. On the way there, my brother got tired and wanted to sleep in the car. She said "No, it's my car, it's dangerous" so there was some tension there. Then we get to a bar (Kentucky something), me and my brother sit. My friend says they're going to step outside, leaving me and my brother sitting there until we went outside and saw they weren't around. We called and he said, "Solie was upset and wanted to leave" and I thought, "And leave us alone with no car to get back?".. As we walked to the border, every guy was trying to sell us something (their sister?), following us, and I have every penny in my pocket ($1,200). After about an hour, we get to the friend's apartment and of course the doors are all locked. My brother finds a dangerous way to get in. My brother passed away this year, 37. That friend came from El Paso the following day to attend the burial - hadn't seen him in 10 yrs. And then the next summer, I took a CAR all over, spending 3-4 weeks there, and I had a better time.
