Three persons and a dog were rescued by McKinney Texas firefighters who answered an emergency call from two women who heard the cries from the three persons who were underneath a bridge that was near Wilson Creek in the banks area. The two female witnesses heard the cries for help early Thursday morning. According to the McKinney firefighters, the three persons and the dog had been in the banks of the creek for a period of eight hours. The three persons were likely camping in the area when a thunderstorm caused the creek to become dangerous to be in. The McKinney firefighters used a rope and a harness to rescue the three persons and the dog out of harm's way and into safety. McKinney Firefighter Zack Costa did the rescue work of the foursome. No injuries were suffered in the incident. Link is msn.com/en-us/weather/...

Thank goodness the two women heard the people in the water. I am so afraid of the water that these stories give me goosebumps. Thanks go to Zack.

I’m really glad they and the dog were all okay. People really need to check the weather before they go out.

That is very true that all of us need to get a weather report before going outside for errands and other things to do.
