Proud of My Anxiety Performance

I was diagnosed with major depression and panic attacks back in the late 90's. Trying to get away from my ex left me with a severe case of PTSD. Social anxiety took over after that. Yeah, you can say my ex really did a number on me. I'm a lot better now 27 years later but there are times. I hate it when I get ominous info on a Friday and can't make heads or tails of it until the following Monday. Geesh! And, of course, the worst scenarios run rampant through my head. Thank the Gods that I have anxiety pills. Sometimes it is off to the races and I go so near to crazy and I am fearful I won't come back. But, more recently I have been doing better, and the hysteria that used to take over I can deal with, even control. I hate that it still grips me but am very thankful I have more control over it now. So, what's new with you?

Yes, indeed. It's like they do it on purpose.

My depression is controlled with meds; and I have anxiety pills; but I never take them regardless of how I feel. Nothing new here. Have a good week. I'm glad you're feeling better.

My depression doesn't have a med that will help it much. I just have learned some coping techniques over the years. Have a good week.

@LindaOHio ........When you have something for so long you really have to find ways to cope or go nuts.
