Match : India vs England at Ekana Stadium, Lucknow (Northern India) India came into this match on the back of a five match winning streak. England had just one win. Yet India faced tough test when batting first. Opener Shubhman Gill out quickly, Superstar player Virat Kohli out for a Duck (0) and Shreyas Iyer too. Opener and captain Rohit Sharma first started aggressively and then played cautiously. His innings of 87 was priceless. K.L.Rahul - 39 and Surya Kumar Yadav (SKY) played a sensible yet quick paced innings of 49. Finally India managed what was seemingly a below par score of 229. England started in a very confident manner. After 4 or so overs, they looked comfortable and well placed. Then came the barrage - 2 wickets to Bumrah and 2 to Shami. Ben Stokes out for Zero. Then a couple of wickets for spinners - Kuldeep and Jadeja. Finally England could put up only 129, giving India a 100 run win. Great win under tough situations for India.
