This last weekend Ethan Chapin would have been enjoying his 21st birthday celebration. Who's Ethan? He is one of four young people who were murdered back on November 13, 2022, along with Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Kaylee Goncalves. Bryan Kohberger was arrested on December 30th and is being held on four counts of first-degree murder and one count of felony burglary. Ethan's brother, Hunter, received the Chapin Scholarship plaque awarded at the University of Idaho recently. Ethan worked at a tulip garden and the owners have named one of their tulips "Ethan's Smile" and 80,000 of them have been sold so far. They are yellow and white. Proceeds from the sales go toward the scholarship. Also, Ethan's mother, Stacey, wrote a book entitled "The Boy Who Wore Blue" which will also have the money from it going to the scholarship. Ethan was a triplet and had a brother, Hunter, and a sister named Maizie. If I was still able to garden and had a place I would definitely get one of the Ethan's Smiles.
