Went to visit Granparents

Halloween, All saints day and all souls day finally arrives this month.
Most people usually visits the dead on the 1st day of November because it was kinda norm and it was holiday.
I went to the cemetery around 10am and it was really sunny. But it was also windy that lightning the candles were difficuilt to light. I've only stayed there for less than an hour and left.
Have you visited your departed loved ones yet?

Most of my relatives are buried hours away, except for my mom. After her body was donated to science (so they could study her brain), they cremated the body. So her ashes are currently in a beautiful wooden box in my apartment (except for two necklaces that have some of her ashes; one necklace for me, and one for my sister).

At least you have her in the URN. We used to have grandma in the urn but when mom consulted with the catholic priest he was against it.

No I have not visited my deceased relatives since they are buried in another state outside of Louisiana.
