Things are looking good for Andy Bashear in Kentucky

He is the current Democrat governor of the state. I still don’t understand how that happened but whatever. Based on the vote counts already reported he is outperforming his last election and is well ahead of challenger David Cameron. Some people on Twitter are already calling the election for him but it’s too soon IMO.
John King on CNN said that part of this may be because it’s not a presidential election year and the rural voters who who would be motivated to go vote for Trump may have sat this election out.

Actually, Matt Blevin was the first GOP governor since Louie Nunn in the 60s. We have had lots of Democratic governors.
