I am not sure if tje Chinese Hats will bloom this year

By now every year our Chinese Hats (. Holmskioldia) bloomed in readiness for Christmas but this year the bush is bare. Yes, it rained heavily yesterday and that is not good for this bush. I also saw new leaves on our mango trees which means they will not flower. No flowers means no mangoes this year. Everything is turning topsy- turvy in our garden. Acceptance is the only way to go.

I have never heard about them before, I hope they will bloom, Sorry there won't be any mangoes, Why does that happen?

Trees yield in summer and if it rains instead of flowers new leaves come up
