Hello out there! Got up and took a shower, and came out and found my phone. It was just in time to get a text from my friend, asking if her picking me up at 10:30 for brunch would be okay. I guess you could call it lunch, as it will be almost noon when we eat--well, off by an hour...whatever. After that we'll go and see the Vet's day parade. Guess I'll be alone for dinner, which is a bit of a bummer, but times change. Growing up, starting with my tenth birthday, I had lobster for dinner. On my tenth birthday I tried it for the first time and decided I liked it. It was a tradition for a lot of years. Now, I'll be content with people showing they care, however they choose to show it. Goodness...I just finished typing that paragraph and I got several "Happy Birthday" texts from a lady at church and one from my brother. Have a great morning/afternoon/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land, and a salute to all of the vets out there!
