Laxmipuja is celebrated on the day of Diwali

Hindus all over the world celebrate Laxmipuja on the day of Diwali. Diwali is the festival of lights. Houses are cleaned. Colourful alpona or rangoli is given with rice husk and colours. Mud Diyas are lit. Idols of Goddess Laxmi are bought and flowers and fruits are offered to the Goddess of Wealth.
