Australia defeated South Africa in semi-finals in Eden Gardens. Inspite of Miller scoring a century the top order of South Africa led them down with 4 wickets gone for 24 runs from where they could not recover. 5 times champion Australia will face 2 times champion India in Modi stadium in Gujarat on sunday. India has not lost 1 match even.

Good Luck to both of them. I think South Africa should invest in some anti-freeze when they get to semi-finals, grrr. I think it is going to be an epic final!

@thedevilinme thanks Berend and Winterishare yes I feel sad that South Africa played good cricket, but the 4 wickets that fell at the beginning messed up the cause. Bowlers really bowled well and fought till the end

South Africa needs a few good top order batters plus a few good allrounders.
They are missing players of the calibre of Gibbs, Kallis, Shaun Pollock.

South Africa performed below par.
After 24 for 4, it is always a big challenge.
The South African bowlers did pose good challenge to Aussies but still Australia managed to win by 3 wickets.
A tough and exciting match is on the cards.
