Eternal Rest in the Forest

I finally figured out, with no thanks to Google Maps, where the Saghoria Forest is and took a nice mid autumn hike last week Saturday afternoon. As forested areas go, its not that big, but when the whispers from the old Elm and Oak trees welcomes a person, you can feel the calm and the peace that only nature brings. On my exploratory walk through the forest (as I will return quite often), I found this, the final resting place of probably one of Saints of the Orthodox Church. No idea whose bones are resting here in this quiet clearing in the forest. There are inscriptions on the pilgrimage stop next to it, but I did not stop there, so the quiet mystery of the person who got granted the eternal peace of this lovely spot, remains. As far as last resting places go, this is one of the more gentle and beautiful ones I've seen. Image is my own
