Marzipans

Marzipans are not traditional Christmas goodies where I live but with the kind of exposure we now have there is no limit to what one can try and bring them in. Marzipans are normally made from almonds but I used cashew nuts with almond essence. I just ground cashew nuts to a paste added sugar, and rose water. Divided the paste into sections to add different food colouring and pressed the dough into molds t produce different shapes Yummy marzipans What Christmas goodies will you be making? Image credit:

Those look sooooooooooooo good. I make different kinds of pies and cookies and chocolate covered pecans.
