In winter the open air swimming pools in the resorts are hardly used.

In India during the summer and monsoon months from March to October the open air swimming pools in resorts are very popular. The tropical waters are lovely. Swimming is fun in the sun and under clouds. Now it is winter, the pools are open but travellers hardly use them for cold water.

I think it would be only the Indoors, water heated Swimming pools that would be in use during the winters.
Open Air ones would be out of the equation.

Yes, if it's an outdoor pool, the water would be too cold for swimming in winter.

I hope you and your family are all doing well.
