We all hate and lots of people have had the stomach bug and of course, my boys had it, and now that naturally means both me and my husband have to deal with it too. I got hit with it hard and fast last night. Spent all day today trying to feel normal again. My husband, well he is still in the throws of not feeling so great with the stomach bug. It's hit him harder than it hit me of course because he hardly ever gets sick. Feeling like crud meat I didn't get any bookwork done today like I hoped for but I did get to read 2 books and started reading another one.

In times like this, we need to keep fit as much as possible. But then, it is inevitable to get sick. I hope all of you will recuperate soon.

Being fit has nothing to do with getting or being sick. Stomach bugs are very hard to avoid in general since they are highly contagious due to shared spaces and surfaces. You can easily pick them up from clothes, and other things especially kids most stomach bugs only last a few short days. You can even get it from food not being cooked properly.

@Shavkat without or with? Without would imply you don't need to be careful which I'm assuming isn't what you actually meant with the word careful. Lots of bugs in general germ-wise are not always preventable so it also doesn't matter where you go or what you do. Yes knowing when you're not well it does help eliminate to some degree others possibly getting sick. Also if you caring for someone that is sick like parents taking care of kids you are more likely to get sick as well but it is possible to not get sick at the same time being care taker. It also just comes down to what someone gets and if your body has already built immunity to it.

Illnesses make us all feel so bad that we cannot work on your jobs.

I'm a stay-at-home parent and writer so my job doesn't pay me either way. Actually, as a writer only get paid when I sell a book or someone reads it online and then I don't see that money for several months. Let's be real being a stay-at-home parent means I also don't have sick days. I'm a parent regardless of how well I am or am not.

I hope everyone feels better soon. I have never had the flu and hope I never do.

The stomach bug isn't the flu, Stomach flu has zero relation to the actual full most people do get the stomach bug at least once if not more in there lifetime. It's a virus that affects your stomach causing you to either throw up or have diarrhea. Some people experience both. Sometimes you will get heads for days and bad stomach cramps there are other symptoms of the stomach bug including a fever. Some stomach bugs are viral and others are bacterial but most are viral and pass from person to person easily and usually before symptoms are seen.
