It's been a busy November

Between our camping trip, my mother's 86th birthday, NaNoWriMo, and Thanksgiving, I haven't had much time left for other things. I have stopped by a time or two to read my notifications but haven't posted. So here's my post. Over the course of the day, I will post some short bits I've written about getting ready for Turkey Day, aka American Thanksgiving. Note, the photo has nothing to do with this post. I just found it amusing. I hope everyone's been doing well.

I was pushing hard to finish my 50K word NaNoWriMo 30-day challenge in 15 days because family was coming in for Thanksgiving starting on the 18th.

What a wonderful image!! That is pretty hilarious really. It's good to see you back again. Sometimes, you don't realise someone has been away until their name suddenly appears again.
