Not that I had hair like that of Rapunzel but my husband wanted it long. It took me a long time to convince him and finally I had it cut. I liked the 'Diana' haircut and I think it suited me. But during the pandemic I did not want anyone from the saloon to visit me so I started growing my hair and now it is shoulder length I notice it is taking goo long to grow and that I can attribute it to my age. Atleast I am not bald What's your story? Image credit:

I started growing my hair because a friend had chemo and lost hers. She asked me to grow mine out so she could have it... After mine got shoulder-length, I decided I wanted to keep it so we bought her a wig of hair that looked just like mine. I still haven't gotten mine cut. I know I need a trim to even it all up but I'm still reluctant to go in and get it cut. Photo is mine. Pretty took the photo in September 2023.

@allknowing Seeing it in person you'd call it red. I used to wear it long but a friend told me I was too old for long hair so I had it all cut off. I like it long so am keeping it long... I just need the ends trimmed. I usually wear it in a low ponytail but I wanted to show people on myLot how long it is.

My hair suits me these days..it is short. Being a hairdresser, I had every style, you name it, every color, cut and so on.

I finished chemo and radiation about two months ago and my hair is finally coming back. I'm thankful it's growing, but it looks awful! Too curly, frizzy, and wiry. Before treatments, my real hair was almost all silver and really the prettiest it had ever been. Are you going to keep your hair long?

You must try to like that hair in my opinion. Better than having no hair. Right? Can you not tame it down a bit?

@allknowing I agree it's better than being bald, but it's just unmanageable.

I had my hair done two weeks ago. I used to have shoulder length hair, now it is bobbed. Winter sessjon means 20 to 30 minutes blow drying. My hair is coarse and thick that is why it takes time to dry it. When I was a kid my mom would have my hair cut off every two months. I literally had short to super short hair until college.

@allknowing exactly. Plus, my husband complains whenever he massages jojoba oil on my hair because of its thickness.

After the pandemic, I went to the hair salon less. Now I even can dye my own hair and it is easier than I expected We also bought a branded electric clipper so that we could have haircut by ourselves at home. Sometimes I will ask my husband to help to trim my hair a bit and fortunately he can handle it Of course if I want to have a big change and I can't count on him

Pandemaic has opened our eyes in more ways than one. Things have changed for everyone. For big changes I am afraid you will have to rely on a saloon (lol)

After my chemo I could only try short hair styles. Now I have what is called "pixie" haircut. I love it.

I also like Diana's hair style, but you have to go to the saloon very often to maintain it. I used to have short hair. As I didn't want to go to the saloon frequently during the Pandemic, I let my hair grow. It's now shoulder length and I find it okay.
