This would seem like an odd thing to ask but I'm going to ask it anyway.
People name their cars sometimes they name other things as well, but I wonder do guys name their motorcycles?
The reason I ask is I'm writing and currently the first chapter has the guy on his motorcycle he is a pro racer and in my head, it makes logical sense that he would name his bike. Of course, I can't think of anything other than a monster because it's green and black.

That's a good one. I changed it from Monster to Treasure since he is a merman.

Not odd. A customer of mine used to call his Mean Machine. I did meet a Harley owner once who just called his "Mine". A few others never named their bikes. Hunter is an accepted colour name for black/green
I've come to associate green and black less with racy monsters and energy drinks and more with the genteel side of life
, but such a nice name might not work. Enjoy the writing

He is a merman who is a pro racer and I changed it from Monster to Treasure. This makes a lot of logical sense with merfolks treating most of belongers as those it is worth tons of gold.
