Whenever I get something I like, it seems friend has to buy almost the same thing. I got a recliner for my living room and he had to get the same one. He also liked the cover I had on mine, and I had to order one for him..never mind the fact he never put it on... I got that snowblower..and he suddenly decided he needed a similar model. I am shocked he didn't buy the same smart TV I have. He has a larger one.I got a foot cycle, and he wanted me to order him the same thing. I told him he had enough junk around and I never even saw him use the one I had. Do you know anybody who is always copying things?

Why don't you two just share a residence, that way you could cut the price of the item that you both have in half.

My brother's wife used to copy everything that I said and did. I am glad that we have such little contact these days.

@snowy22315 I think that he must, this is the first time that I can think about that you mentioned he had a flaw.

I had a cousin like that, no matter what I bought she wanted to have the same.

@snowy22315 That is what I thought. As soon as she noticed a new dress, she had to ask where I bought and she wanted an identical one.

I see a lot of that when we have our Writer's Guild at the restaurant. Everybody seems to order the same thing. A couple of months ago my friend ordered a taco salad, and several other members did the same when they came in and saw what she had. I didn't. I'm not a taco fan. But that's where I see more copycatting going on.

You are right, sometimes people see things they like and order the same thing..even if they know what they might want to order beforehand..if they see something that looks good, they are apt to change their idea.

@snowy22315 My friend and I are always the first ones to get to the restaurant, so when the others filter in, they ask and see what she's having.

If you don't mind, what's your and his age ? You reminded me of something, I will tell you. We used to have a crazy way to show our feelings at school. So they will follow certain pattern - like copying each others thoughts or wearables school bags, lunch box etc for exampleif you say - I like hotdogs, that guy will also say he also like hotdogs. On this basis we used to guess these guys are either couple or has feelings for each other. Hence I asked for your and his Age

Back in high school, but not as an adult. How odd that he goes to that amount of trouble.

That is weird when people do that. I can see if he actually was using the things after he bought them but that isn’t the case.

I guess we have to keep in mind imitation is the sincerest form of flattery
