Will you have a Christmas tree this year?

I have an artificial Christmas tree and it's old. Two years ago my brother came home and we decorated. Last year we were in a bad mood and we didn't decorate. This year we won't have a Christmas tree. We have three cats and they eat parts of the tree. This can be dangerous, but I am not in the mood to decorate a Christmas tree. This is the real reason. I think I will put on some lights and that's all.

I have a small tree and I am going to decorate it for Christmas. Some lights sound a good idea.

@dya80dya I know, I would not put on a Christmas tree should my cat stayed inside.

My tree would fall because my cats would stay in the tree. It will be their new toy.

The cats jump everywhere. The tree I have is not small. Its height is more than 1 meter.

@RebeccasFarm Even without cats decorating a Christmas tree is not easy when you have depression.

I have a two foot pink tree I will be setting out. It comes with ornaments already attached. I used to have a four foot tree that was fully lit and decorated, but I gave that to my now 12 year old niece.

@dya80dya I went several years without one, and then one year I made my own out of a leftover Halloween tree from a store. It looked hideous, but it was something.

This is good. It seems that many people will have Christmas trees except me.

Yes, As a matter of fact I have it out now waiting to be put up. I wanted to clean out the corner first. My cat doesn't bother the tree that much.

This is good. I have a new cat and she never saw a Christmas tree. I am not sure how she will react.

Due to the high cost of living, there will be no Christmas tree in my rental home this year as well as not having enough space for a tree that is artificial tree either.

We have a Christmas tree which we use every year. It's not a real tree we just adorn it and we add trimmings every year.

Real trees are very expensive.

I have two trees. One is a two-foot fiber optic I keep up year-round, but not turned on. I turned it on in October. I took my larger tree out of storage before Thanksgiving and put it out on the balcony, the only place I have for a larger tree. I only put lights and garland on it. I used the garland to anchor it to the balcony railing. It looks good there. I'm sorry your cats would try to eat parts of the tree.
