Will you have a Christmas tree this year?

I have an artificial Christmas tree and it's old. Two years ago my brother came home and we decorated. Last year we were in a bad mood and we didn't decorate. This year we won't have a Christmas tree. We have three cats and they eat parts of the tree. This can be dangerous, but I am not in the mood to decorate a Christmas tree. This is the real reason. I think I will put on some lights and that's all.

@RebeccasFarm Even without cats decorating a Christmas tree is not easy when you have depression.

Yes, As a matter of fact I have it out now waiting to be put up. I wanted to clean out the corner first. My cat doesn't bother the tree that much.

Due to the high cost of living, there will be no Christmas tree in my rental home this year as well as not having enough space for a tree that is artificial tree either.

@dya80dya Maybe next year my relatives and myself will buy an artificial tree and place in the living room.

We have a Christmas tree which we use every year. It's not a real tree we just adorn it and we add trimmings every year.

I have two trees. One is a two-foot fiber optic I keep up year-round, but not turned on. I turned it on in October. I took my larger tree out of storage before Thanksgiving and put it out on the balcony, the only place I have for a larger tree. I only put lights and garland on it. I used the garland to anchor it to the balcony railing. It looks good there.
I'm sorry your cats would try to eat parts of the tree.
