I got a new battery for my truck today.

I was going to go to my mechanic's place this morning, but then I remembered I had signed up for AAA. I called AAA this morning, and they gave me a jump. He (the AAA dude) recommended I get a new battery soon. I said soon is now and bought a battery from the fella on the spot. The cost for the battery, along with installation, was way less than I would have spent at my mechanic's place. Have you had anything go right recently?

I am glad, we also subscribed to AAA when we came often to your country. Anything to right? Yes, we went grocery shopping yesterday on our way back home from an appointment. Well done, because it's snowing today.

@TheHorse No, it was very little snow, not interesting enough to take pictures. Next week we should get more.

Wow! Awesome! I'm glad you could get the battery right away and have him install it. Yes. I got gas for .76 per gallon with my Hy-Vee fuel rewards at Shell.

@TheHorse They scan the card at the checkout when I buy groceries and when I fill up for gas, it knocks the price down. I've been accruing points because I saw cheaper prices at other gas stations. I didn't realize my not using my card at the gas station for almost a month would drop the price down that much.

Well, while there have been struggles, a few aspects have been positive. Like a few workplace aspects. A new Anti skid Ladder has been helpful in cleaning off the home. For other positives, still more rounds

An anti-skid ladder sounds like a good thing.

I don't even know if AAA operates outside the US. It cost me $100/year and gives me a sense of security

@jstory07 That's a good thing. I have only the most basic insurance on my truck.

AAA is awesome. Well worth the costs of the membership for the convenience alone. I pulled this week's paystub yesterday morning and initially thought that I'd been shorted by a bit more than ten hours because it wasn't where it should have been on the form... turns out there's a new line on the page that shows I'm getting paid about 6% more than my normal rate for certain shifts because they're officially scheduling me for a different position now.

Add that to your MyLor earnings and you could do a post like one of my famous deceptive "How MyLot helped me make $100,10 Today!" posts. Heh.

@TheHorse Yes, it's definitely a first-world problem; BUT it is probably tied to shortage of employees and supply chain shortages. Should be investigated!!!

Good for you and glad you got the new battery, For me anything that goes right has to do with the internet so since I got all my blogging done today I have to say that it was something that went very right for me,
