Goodbye, November 2023.

Man, November 2023 was kind of a doozy. Like, my emotions were pretty up and down this past month.
It started off great. I scored a VIP (with meet and greet) ticket for New Kids On The Block (NKOTB), and many of you know how much I love them. I was being productive, continued to do my work at the coffee shop, and enjoyed my niece’s outdoor birthday party.
My Mom’s third birthday without her was on November 9th. :( I’m doing okay, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love or miss her and Daddy. There are days I still can’t believe they’re gone.
But then, we had to part ways with our senior dog, Doodles, which I posted about in “Goodbye, My Sweet Girl.” Some of you know how much that little dog meant to me, meant to us, so it was heartbreaking. But we did what we had to do because her suffering was not an option.
Then, my Aunt was sick and it almost ended up really bad, but fortunately, she took a turn for the better. So that situation alone was full of good and bad emotions.
I picked Doodles’ urn the day before Thanksgiving. While it’s not the way I’d prefer home to be home, I’m relieved that my girl is home, in a sense. Thanksgiving itself was nice, and we even took a walk in the park. The holiday is usually laid-back (most holidays are, outside of Halloween and Christmas), but that’s how we like it.
WWE Survivor Series was on Saturday, November 25th, and Randy Orton returned after well over 500 days on the injury list. I know CM Punk returned too, and that’s cool, but I was watching for Randy. He’s one of my top favorites, and for a while there, we all thought his retirement was coming. So I’m glad he was able to return.
So yeah, a mixture of good and bad moments, with my Aunt’s recovery and getting my NKOTB ticket being the best, and losing our dog being the worst.
Outside of some fun holiday events, I wouldn’t mind an uneventful December. I’ve had enough of the rollercoaster ride that was November 2023.
That’s the only post from me tonight. You all have a good night/morning, stay safe, and take care.

I agree with you that Randy Orton is a very good wrestler since his dad is Cowboy Bob Orton and his grandfather preceded him in the wrestling business.
