Gas prices down again in California. Is Governor Newsom running for President? (laughing emoji)

I did a post last week (I think) about gas prices dropping again in California. On my way to the grocery store this morning, I noticed that they had dropped yet another dime per gallon. A part of it might be the "summer mixture" v. the "winter mixture" in California. But don't quote me on that. I haven't researched it in months and my memory is not what it used to be. I might even have it backwards. Whenever gas prices drop by a lot here, my cynical side wonders if our Governor, who has done a good job here, will be running for President, either in 2024 if Biden falters, or in 2028. Will we see Newsom v. Desantis in 2028? I just read that Newsom dusted poor Ron Desantis in some kind of debate, but I haven't watched the debate yet. In fact, I had no clue that any such like was taking place. Nor why. I spent the morning building grill (or grille) frames for the JBL L-100s I'm working on. How is your day shaping up? Are gas prices "still" dropping where you live? I'll try to find a "cute kid" photo, as politics and gas prices can be kind of boring to some.

I wanted to record the debate but I forgot to set the YouTube TV to do it. Oops. Gas prices are down here as well. I saw $3.15/gallon this morning for regular.

I was looking at gas prices at 2 stations today - it doesn't seem any different than it was a few days ago. In fact, it seemed like a few places were still at 5 - NUTS! I've only heard on the news, but I haven't seen the debate either.

Cute picture. OPEC is cutting back on production to raise crude oil prices. You may start to see a rise in gas prices unfortunately. Have a great weekend.
