I admire the way that United States Air Force Colonel (Retired) Spencer Cocanour who resides in Asheville North Carolina who has rescued at least 140-150 cats from trees since he began his current business called Asheville Tree-Top Cat Rescue after he served in the US Air Force working with special operations and personal recovery with airplane and pilots in his past.
Spencer has a good heart to rescue cats that get trapped in trees since a cat that is trapped climbing a tree for a period of two days or more gets in danger of suffering from dehydration.
Spencer admits that rescuing cats who are in need of being rescued keeps him entertained as well as giving a reason to live a happy life.
Spencer retired from the United States Air Force in 2019. Nice to say former United States military personnel find happiness after they leave the armed forces.

I am in agreement with you that Spencer has a very good idea to give back to his community.

Of course, domestic cats should never be allowed out to climb trees on their own, and to perhaps eat the eggs of birds, or even the hatched baby birds themselves, up there.
They need to be better controlled by their owners, which I hope this rescuer tells the owners when he returns their cat to them.
