Nice warm Saturday and a family birthday

Hope your day is blossoming into what you want it. We had a lie in, even though the weather is just glorious, nice sunny day with max of 20C (68F) and not a cloud in the sky. Still too muddy out for a forest walk, so we'll stick to paved area's for today, we'll take a morning walk in a few minutes, just to exercise the late breakfast off. Lunch will be, in keeping with the lighter mood, a nice light affair, probably something to the line of a warm noodle salad and some skillet bread. It is also Mom in law's birthday today, she is 90 years old today. Thanks to the wonders of home delivery and the internet, we will be able to send some of the things she really likes, such as madeira cake, as a present. Such a blessing to be able to do something like that. We will hopefully be able to chat later as well, she is bit deaf and technologically challenged, so it is quite fun to get her on a video call.
