Because I'm a Workaholic, we didn't stay long. That's why we're back here in the Neon Fun Jungle already tonight, Sunday, and this is from last Thursday: Got a call from an old friend, we used to be real close, well, we still are but maybe not for long. The friend in question is Gavin, AKA Governor Newsom. Please don't confuse him with my friend Tommy "Mr. Electricity" Newsom, he's a saxophone player. He used to be with the NBC Symphony Orchestra but now he plays for The MyLot Symphony Band. Gavin called me late last night and said, "Hey, do you want to debate me?" I said, why would I want to do that? We are on the same side. He said, "On some issues, yes, we do agree but are we really on the same side? You think seat belt and helmet laws, indoor smoking bans, and cigarette and liquor taxes should all be eliminated because they are the work of the devil and blueberry pie and coffee, both of which are, also in your opinion, works of the devil, should be banned." Gav, I said. Did you call me to tell me how right I am about everything because of my staunch beliefs in the core tenets of Common Sense Liberalism? "No, man," He said. "Don't you get it? I'm on a roll and I want to keep going. I want to do to you what I did to Meatball Ron last night." Then he called me weak, pathetic and small. Instead of making this long story even longer, I'll shorten it by saying he is very fortunate because I will not be debating him. But I will be going to his annual California Holiday Hot Tub And Wine Party in Sacramento. Because it would be rude to say no. Uh, just one last thing, ma'am. Many people are fakely, dishonestly and falsely saying that this week's "SuperNatural Saturday" is late. They are wrong.
