Mellow Monday start to the week

Very good start of the week to you, wherever you are! We are still in the milder temperature range (19C or 66F) for today, but there is a cold wind of change blowing a few clouds across the sky. We did take a walk last niofght to see the Christmas lights, but they have not been turned on yet. A few shops had displays out for Christmas, notable McDonalds which was lit up, well, like a Christmas Tree. It was a fun stroll around town. I've received a message from my parents in Namibia at 12:15 am about their lease agreement and how unfair the terms are (they've been in the house for three months now). As usual, s he wants an immediate answer. It was our sleeping time already and lucky I had the phone on silent. I'll think about involving my sisters in this. I've said to my parents we'll think about their situation. So I will do just that in the back of my head. I've signed up for a drawing course. I've always wanted to draw, but somehow never got the opportunity to manifest that want into actual. I know the Yoda thing of course - No think just draw as it were, but I like to first know what I'm doing. I'm not a caveman who are just going to to put palmprints for eternity on a cave wall. For me it goes a bit deeper than that. So this afternoon we'll go to an art shop for a few supplies, should prove to be quite an adventure. On the kitchen front, we've marrows, mushrooms which can go with buckwheat and a side of potatoes with tomato sauce might be just the thing. I've not done something as decadent as proper homemade tomato sauce for some time and it will go nice as a side on this sunny day. It took me awhile to get settled into the music mode today, I seem to be a bit at sixes and sevens. But I settled on on some Psydub and have got Desert Dwellers in the background. Maybe I'll up the tempo a bit later to Goa Trance, but not just yet. It is good to chill the mind into new directions at times, instead of letting it fly off like a drunk space ship (Just had a funny thought - remember that old Atari asteroid game with the stupid little spaceship coming helter skelter across the screen?)
