I remember many years ago when Alejandra and I were in a writer´s workshop together. ,s helped with my mourning by writing.Jose Donoso, the writer who was in charge of it, told Alejandra that she was a better poet than a writer of prose. It was tough as the workshop was for narrative. But I agreed. Alejandra can say a lot in a few words and can made the silence between words talk. This last book had to do with the mourning process after her sister´s and her husband´s death. Her book was moving and I felt very near it. There is loss and loneliness and old age. I, too, was helped with my mourning by writing. But I don´t write poetry. I am more familiar with narrative. Yesterday we talked about the need to write. I have stopped writing in my native language. Alejandra told me that it helped fight depression. Maybe I should start to write again. For the moment Humberto gave me work as a reader of his chronicles. I have to go to me e mail to check them gain. On TV, there are some lions trying to reach a dead animals that some photographers have hung from a tree so that they can learn about them. They are watching inside a plastic tranparent tent. I would not dare stay there. See you, friends. It is time to feed Luna.

I can only read poetry in Spanish. Translations destroy poetry.
