We had to go to Dollar Tree to pick a couple things up. We actually tried to go to Ollie's , but they didn't have batteries. Well they did- but not the size we needed. So we went to Dollar Tree. Thank goodness they had what we needed- because we are having to be super budget conscious right now.
We stopped at Wendy's on the way back to get food because they have the $6 Biggie Bags, and I have coupons on top of that. But they had a insane line that wasn't moving with any speed. So we went to BK because I had coupons for there too.
Of course they didn't have the original chicken sandwich. Which is what I get at BK 99 percent of the time. So instead I settled for chicken jrs. Which were sub par at best. They also didn't have any fries. So we ordered cheese sticks, and they didn't even get that right. They gave us onion rings. Which neither one of us eat. Soooooo.
It was just rather dissapointing.
So that's what's for dinner tonight.

I had veggie beef soup and a tomato & cheese sandwich, plus a lemon fiber bar and some fruit cocktail. With some yummy tea for dessert. I know how to live it up.
What did the doctor say? “Come back for more tests”?

I was just about to message you and then got distracted because I am trying to figure out the rest of the week. Some of my numbers are too high, so I have an appointment wiht another specialist for my liver tomorrow.

I cooked pork chop for dinner. My loving wife passed away 4 months ago; so I have to do everything. I miss her so much.

What in the heck kind of a BK did you go to that they were out everything? Unheard of. lol. I'd have been floored. But that's the way it goes these days. Just can't rely on anything anymore.
For dinner we had a simple din night. Just made ham sandwiches on toasted bread with fried onions and provolone and had macaroni and cheese on the side.

When I managed BK we often ran out of burger meat, or whopper meat or chicken something or other because the manager that did the ordering never did it right and just guessed every week.

@thislittlepennyearns That's just insane to me. Especially the burgers. I mean, you pull up to a KFC and they say, sorry, we're out of chicken. WHAT??? lol
