Texas has blocked a woman from terminating her pregnancy

This was AFTER a Texas judge ruled that she could have an abortion to terminate a pregnancy where the fetus had a lethal condition (Edward syndrome). It would result in a stillbirth or a baby that died shortly after birth. Continuing the pregnancy could impact her future fertility and she really wants to be a mother. After the judge said that she was allowed to have the procedure the Texas attorney general Ken Paxton said that he would still criminally prosecute any doctors or other medical professionals that would perform the procedure. And now the Texas Supreme Court has temporarily blocked it. This is problematic because the woman is already 20 weeks pregnant. Pushing it off for another couple of weeks will make the termination entirely more difficult. This is insanity. The fetus may not survive and it definitely won't if it is born. A dead fetus inside of a woman can destroy her fertility. These "pro-life" people are nuts.

I don’t know….if I were in that situation I wouldn’t have waited for the appeal. As slow as the “wheels of justice” turn it would’ve been done by the time the court could’ve said “no.” I’d also like to see the woman sue for the physical and emotional damage caused. I’m pro-life, in the sense that I don’t think abortion should be used as blanket birth control. Birth control is way too easy to obtain. Medical necessities, however, are a different story.

Birth control doesn't always work. Sometimes people do everything right and things still go wrong. *speaking from personal experience*

That's really injustice and dangerous for the women. The judges should understand that.

So a judge has ruled that a procedure is legal, and the attorney general is still threatening to prosecute anyone who carries out that legal procedure? And in the meantime, a woman and maybe her baby have to suffer for this guy's ideology. I don't know what's wrong with some people.
