Police officer to be honored by his superiors in Georgia after saving a life of an infant

Lee County Sheriffs Office (LCSO) Deputy Jacob Cook answered an emergency call from a concerned mom who had called the police after her infant stopped breathing in her home in Lee County Georgia on Monday night September 25, 2023.
Deputy Cook was able to save the life of the infant who is female even though her age was not mentioned by using his life saving skills to revive the infant before the ambulance arrived to take the infant to Piedmont Columbus Regional Pediatric in Columbus Georgia where the infant made a full recovery.
Deputy Cook will be rewarded by his superiors at the Lee County Sheriff's Office with the First Friday Hero Award this week.
Deputy Cook and the family of the victim of the child have become very good friends.

That's nice that they have become friends. I think some are afraid to grab a baby and jostle them around as you have to sometimes to save their lives.
