TV Series: Lawman: Bass Reeves

I found this show on Paramount+ and thought I would give it a try. So far so good. I am into season one, episode 6. It was first released on November 5th, 2023. So, it is a new show and has only one season out as of now. I’m hoping there will be more seasons at some point. The show is based on the real life of the legendary Bass Reeves, the first African American Deputy U.S. Marshal west of the Mississippi. The show so far has been worth watching, and I would suggest it if you like westerns, history, or law. I would also suggest if you are not aware of who Bass Reeves was, take the time and read a little about him. It is said that in his time he captured over 3,000 dangerous criminals. He went from being a slave to escaping during the Civil War to becoming a legend in law enforcement. Pretty interesting story.
