I posted that I was finished with this ridiculous book on Amazon GoodReads, and I could have been more "wordy" I guess, but I just didn't feel like it. Here goes: Ugh. I gave this book one star because unfortunately there's no way to give half a star. I don't normally read non-fiction, but this has to be one of the most ridiculous, stupid, pointless non-fiction books I have ever read! The author used lots of run on sentences that were more confusing than explanatory. Especially in the first chapters of the book, the author constantly repeated himself--making the book even more tedious. Talked about "loving our past and future selves" like everyone was some sort of split personality. Constantly gave quotes from people either that I never heard of or personally didn't care what their opinion was, if I had ever heard of them. Kept using words that I guess were supposed to be "psychological" with no explanation (ie: a footnote with the definition at the bottom) as to what they meant. There were countless other things I seriously disliked about this piece of trash--I mean, book--but at the risk of repeating myself I'll end this here! That review probably wouldn't have gone over very well on the website owned by the author of this farce--but oh, well.

Ugh, I read the intro and was already in lah lah land. I think the author intended this as self help comedy interspersed with acid-induced nightmares. Thanks for saving me from the rest of it. Hope you made it DNF as well

You read this "lovely" piece, too? No--I actually finished it, as I used it for the Amazon Good Reads challenge, too.
