Time just flys by me now days

While I was in the hosp knocked out for 3 mons time would just fly by like nothing day by day till I woke up after 3 mons wondering what happened. I couldn't keep up with the days or nights it was very aggravating to say the lest but it didn't matter cause I wasn't going anywhere till they were ready. Now that I've been home 4 mos I can't belive it's been that long since I've been home that long & how much progress I've made in that time. When I got back home I didn't know how things were going to go having to live in hubby's place being we have lived apart for 15 yrs in our own places, Now time just goes by like nothing. I'm getting better my color is back but I have days where I just drag around not feeling good & it's cause my sugar is around 3-400 everyday. I'm on 24 units of insuline everyday but it's the LONG lasting not the fast acting which I'm sure after this month I'll be on the fast acting 1 as well. Does your day fly by you like it does me everyday? are you a diabetic how do you keep it under control?

Time flies. No matter what you do, it moves like lightning when you are doing something you enjoy, or like a snail when you're waiting for something good. I'm prediabetic. That put a scare into me when the nurse told me that. My doctor told me I only need to lose weight and I'll no longer be prediabetic. I need to get to 200. I was 212 when he told me that. I'm 205 right now and going lower. My goal is to be under 200 by Christmas. I hope you can get your diabetes under control.

I lost my 200 lbs while I was in the hosp for 6 mons, from 200 to 140 lbs as you know. I do what walking around I can do here when there's not a lot of SAFE places I can walk. I will be going to theripy starting this week I'm hoping that will help with my diabities.

@2ndchances24 I didn’t necessarily think it was the diabetes, but I just couldn’t tell what it definitely was. I think I must have been extra tired last night. Pancreas problems sure are scary. My dad ended up in the hospital for his too, years ago. I hope you don’t have problems again (I assume your gallbladder was removed).

I am pre diabetic right now. The way I keep my blood sugar low is not by eating sugary food and doing plenty of exercise like doing housework of cleaning up my bedroom.

We keep up with the house work where the house stays kept up. I got rid of all the drinks & food I use to eat & did research on what food I COULD eat daily & has been buying lots of fruits. I eat brockly & cabbage, stews without potatoes, everything I found online on diabeties.

I don't have diabetes. I can't help you in this respect. I'm sorry, but I have thyroid nodules. The doctor asked me to exercise more.

Those blood sugar numbers are so high. Have you read up on extreme low carb diets ? I am diabetic and have been able to control my blood sugars without meds and I exercise. I’m glad that you are back home.

Yea & what gets me the Dr don't seem concerned Somewhat, but could you send me a link or 2? I went most the day fasting today & brought it down to 232 around 5 pm SO if I don[t eat it don't sky rocket out of control on me, but that's not good either cause I have to eat SOMETHING.

As long as I do what I like such as writing, posting, and working online my days fly by. I hope you can get your diabetes controlled. I do not have diabetes but it is my enemy. My husband passed away back in 2017 after having a procedure done at a hospital due to being diagnosed with uncontrolled sugar diabetes. After that I gave away all the sugar in my house and to this day now in Florida I do not keep a single package of sugar in my house,

I do hope the insulin will help bring your diabetes under control. No, I am not diabetic. I feel for those who are and have to deal with it daily. My days are full and do seem to go by quickly.

I don't think it will after I've been on it for 4 mons they might just put me on the fast acting insulin. We have some full days when we go out & do the bills & a little shopping & then come home.
