Hello my friends, how was your day? mine was good for a change I didn't eat anything most the day to get my sugar back down cause it was up in the 5's this morn why I have no clue. I ate a fish sandwish a few hrs B-4 I had to go to therapy at 3 today & when I got done with therapy O M G ! I felt like a limp wash rag I hurt so bad I came home didn't EVEN feel good. I took my sugar test a few hrs after coming home & it read 232, that was the 1st I've seen it that low in awhile. So I guess if I don't eat all day it helps But yet they want me to eat 3-4 X's aday? really? I can't win for losing it seems like. But anyway, after I took my sugar test I smoked a toke & went to bed I hurt so bad in my legs & back I had to lay down awhile. Around 10 pm hubby came to bed & woke me up, well hell I had to go potty, get me something to drink & eat NOW I'm awake. I hope by the time I get my 12 sessions of therapy in, my legs & arms will be a lot stronger, & pray my sugar is under control. So how was yall's day while I was busy?

I'm sure doing all I can to keep it low & I've found that if I eat late in the day & nothing during the day it lowers it. It may not be the BEST idea but if it keeps my sugar low then I'm good I don't really like eating all day anyway.

@2ndchances24 - We have the habit to eat late in the day. Eating often during the day may be annoying.

@LadyDuck I found that eating late in the day (B-4) 6pm my sugar count comes out pretty good for me & I don't mind eating late in the day if it helps.

I hope you can get your blood sugar under control. I'm glad you got it down as far as you did. Have you looked into the Keto diet? I know it's helpful for diabetics. I found a keto friendly bread I really love. No sugar and a few carbs. A lot less than regular bread. I watch everything I eat.

@2ndchances24 I know you need to keep your carb intake down, your protein and fat up. If you can do that, you will lower your blood sugar.

@just4him Yea I'm learning all that it's just when you have a husband that dosen't get the concept of what I can eat it makes it hard to get it through his head.

@RebeccasFarm I'm sorry, I wish I could help you on what's going on, I've got neighbors too that get on our last nerves too & the best thing I can do is Look the other way & smoke me a J & go about my day, watch Tv, take a nap, go deal with something in the cabin, ANYTHING to keep my mind busy

@2ndchances24 I will not say I understand it because I do not go through it but the best I can say is, I understand where you are coming from. It took awhile for my dad to get used to it too. Eventually it becomes second nature. You got this Gayle!

It's been a ongoing battle that's for sure I get SO TIRED of having to stick a needle in me every single day I have to take a break from it but I KNOW that's not doing me any good but I get so bruised up I have to just have a break from it for a few days.
