Big paycheck tomorrow

Well "big" is all relative but tomorrow is the 3rd paycheck of the month which means that it is significantly larger than normal. They won't be deducting "voluntary" things like my 403(b), medical, private disability, pension, summer savings, and union dues. It will be interesting to see what the amount winds up to be. I'm also going to be paid for 2 weeks of tutoring. This will finally get me back in a more comfortable spot. Not getting paid that first week really shifted things for me. My last summer savings deposit was August 15 and then I wasn't paid until September 1. That was a big stretch! Stay tuned!

Is it okay to ask how much union dues are? I was just curious.

Paychecks are one place where size does matter. Congratulations!

We can't get "overtime" but we got a 3.something increase in our Social Security. Every little bit helps.
