The Worst Christmas Gift

During my senior high school's Christmas party, my classmates and I were so excited to receive our gifts. Exchanging and opening the gifts is the highlight of this activity. To cut a long story short, one of my girl classmates received a panty and a bra. Her reaction was so calm that it concealed the feeling of disappointment. As compared to us, we had received good gifts. For me, it is the worst gift for a young teen to receive. In fact, she cried right after the event. Are you a thoughtful present-giver? Which gifts have you given that you think are the best? Image Credit: google.comAAABAg

I also felt this way. Since the giver was my close friend, I gave him a sermon for giving that to her. Well, the escape goat was; it was his mom who bought them. I told him why he asked his mom to do it for him. He should be the one to purchase something as a gift, since he knows the recipient of the gift.

I don't give out a lot of gifts. But when I buy gifts, I'll think of the person, his/her personality and what s(he) would like to receive.

You've got the point. We need to know the needs or wants of the recipient.

The majority of primary and secondary schools exchange gifts. At the college or university level, they do not do this unless they want to. For charities, they do give gifts to particular recipients.

The gift giver did not research more or think what is best gift for her.

Indeed. A big blow of sermon with the giver at that time. It is best to take time knowing the receiver's needs or wants.

@Shavkat - If in doubt, go with food, a nice box of chocolate, something good for the holidays.

You said it right. We all felt bad for her at that time, except for this person who gave it.

That is not the kind of gift you give to some in a class party.

You said it right. Out of empathy, I bought a fancy bracelet for her to have and delivered it to her home. It was my friend who gave me those things. In this way, I was able to make her feel better.
