An old palatial place (Palazzo in Italy) inhabited by a family with a possesive mother, a disturbed heartbroken daughter, a Doctor and a Nurse with stressful past and a young boy who claims to be able to talk with Spirits.
Enters retired from active detective service : Hercule Poirot.
He again finds himself finding the culprit of a few murders and a suspected old murder courtesy an over enthusiastic author.
There are twists, horrifying things, some seem like the work of a ghost.
A bit disturbing at times.
Yet enough to keep one glued.
In the end, a shocking revelation but well, the justice is done.
Kenneth Branaugh is the detective Poirot and he is also the movie director.
Seeing "Tomorrow Never Dies" actor Michelle Yeoh after a long time.
A nice watch movie if you like Murder Mysteries with a Horror angle.
Available on Disney Hotstar.
Inspired by Agatha Christie's "Hallowe'en Party" novel : 1969

@just4him
The movie is set in a sort of Spooky and unexplained phenomenon but things get cleared in the end.
A lot of psychological things are involved though.
