What Was Your Very First Job?

My first job was as a carhop at a sit-down and drive-up restaurant. I worked the outside cars and the inside patio. I got a whopping big 75 cents an hour. I was 15 years old. What was your very first job?

My first "official" job was putting circulars on doors for Dominoes Pizza when I was 14. I was paid $2.50 an hour.

My first job was a summer job. I worked as a sales assistant at a Hallmark shop.

My first job was at a daycare when I was sixteen. I worked there part time the first year I was in college, and was in the nursery with 6 week to one year olds. I really loved those kids.

I used to watch children when I was in my teens. I got 50 cents an hour for one and 75 cents an hour for 2.
