Meaning of Christmas and the Gifts

Hi guys, i`ve been gone for a minute from here. How would you feel if you do not get any Christmas presents? or for people who celebrate other holidays, how does it feel to not get a present from your better half. To me it`s not a big deal, hubby does a lot through the whole year so if he does not give me a present,I'm ok. He cleans, washes, shops, cooks, brings the garbage out and all that even when I'm not working.To me it`s these that matter than to feel ignored and unhelped for the whole year then turn up with a present.

Welcome back, it was a very long time you were not around. My husband and I do not exchange Christmas presents anymore. As you correctly say it's not a gift that matters.

I think you have a fantastic way of looking at this. What a person does to show their love throughout the year to demonstrate their love is far more important than a material item on Christmas.
