In this world there is so much goodness and joy but, there is also ugliness and things that we should all be disgusted and revolted by. We can't let these things become the norm. This is a story from the past of something awful that happened when the wrong information was passed around.
During the first week of January 1923 in Levy County, Florida six black people and two white vigilantes were killed. They call it The Rosewood Massacre. A racially motivated destruction of a rural town largely populated with black American people. Eyewitness accounts say the actual death count could be as high as 27, even 150. The two white people were killed in self-defense.
Why? The trouble began when white men from neighboring towns lynched a black man due to accusations that a white woman had been assaulted by a black drifter. Rosewood had been a whistle-stop on the Seaboard Aira Line Railway.
Several hundred whites searched the area hunting for black people and burned nearly every structure in Rosewood. Survivors hid in the nearby swamps until they were evacuated to larger towns by car or train. The town was abandoned by both its white and black former residents. None ever moved back and the town ceased to exist. Much later some descendants of the families involved came forward but that's another story. You can read more about the outcome decades later at the link below:

I´d punish severely any person who raped another, whaterver the genre and race. But I would certainly not make it a hate (as race goes) problem. That is as evil as the abusse itself.
