Kids at my mom's

My kids are spending the night at my mom's tonight. She picked them up this morning, and will be bringing them back tomorrow. I know they like spending time with her, and vice versa. Plus it gives me some time alone tonight, which I won't complain about.

I am sure it is nice to take a break from the kiddos every once in awhile. You and hubby should take advantage of the free babysitter and do a date night.

My mom took them Friday night and hubby works Friday nights. We were able to spend some time on Saturday to just relax and spend time together. It was a date day at home

It works out so well for everyoned when they stay with grandparents. It works for the grandparents as they can spoil and see the quiet side of their grandchildren. It helps the grandchildren to see the same, and to miss Mommy for a while, that is good that they realize how much she does for everyone. It helps you with some peace and quiet and provides for some relaxation. I hope that you got that.
