Stress Relief

Cortisol is the stress hormone. Melatonin helps us go to sleep and cortisol helps us wake up. So there are a few symptoms and things to look for in people who are feeling stressed. Sleep disruption, belly fat, reflux, and irritability are strong symptoms. The skin is not just the physical boundary of your body. It is also the psychological one as well. If you are stressed a lot you might find that your skin is dry or you have skin problems. (Moisturizer doesn't help. Ahah moment.) You can physically sweat cortisol out of your body. So this is why getting exercise will help. Journaling and writing (or speaking out) what is in your head will also help to shed that stress instead of letting it just go round and round in your head. It is all about getting the negative and the cortisol out of your body.

I write constantly and think positively and pretty much do not have any pent up stress.

It is a great way to let emotions out and relieve stress. You can do art or write. Lots of ways to journal.

Yes this is why I love steam baths, even just a regular bath with Epsom salts like you told me a long time ago helps. Course then after those two things, I always rinse in freezing water to get youthful again bwahahaha
