The human heart needs to be tended by consciousness, for it to be active in our lives. The love that is in each heart must come alive in oneself, by our bringing it to life, by the way that we live our lives.
Within our hearts, lives our soul, as well as God.
Jesus Christ, and God, can see and feel what is in the heart from the picture of love there, and what it tells them.
Is the love there developed, or is it overly shrivelled up, in seed form only, still?
Love must be allowed to grow in one for a life to be completed within God.
Without developed love living in our hearts, our hearts will then crave after worldly pleasures, instead of more refined purposes, fuelled by love.
From a lustful heart, will arise lustful thoughts, and without proper mind control, we are apt to follow these thoughts, and so be led forwards in our life from darkness, rather than from light.
Choices to be good choices, must be made from the love in your heart, aligned to conscious comprehension of truth.
Our heart is the home of all emotions, and yet, love lives in there too. It is from love, or from other emotions, that thoughts arise and enter into our minds, to be thought over, and acted upon, as we choose to do so.
Our heart also provides the seat on where our soul sits. Our heart underpins all that we are.
We need to grow into who we really are, by our growing from our hearts, in the right way, for God.
If you carry God, and his love, in your heart, every moment of your life will be blessed by God, and lived in, and from, his love.

I agree that love is all, and all that we need, and yet if that was really the case, why did God create us, and send us down here, away from his love in Heaven.
Absence makes the heart grow stronger, I guess.
Also, we are to try to build our wisdom, and knowledge of truth, while we are here too, while sticking to love, and loving, as much as we can too.

@innertalks Maybe it is a test for all of us. We all know that love is the answer to a better place, but most choose to hate and sin. Well, we could only assume since no one knows really if there's such heaven or hell after this life. I just hope there is justice, there is reward for those who put love truly in their hearts whose words and deeds are divine.

@simplfred Yes, life does seem to provide us with tests, and we should try to see the underlying lessons coming to us from each and every experience, that we go through.
When we look at life through the eyes of love, with love truly in our hearts, we are more likely then to see the positives in the negatives, and not dwell on the negatives in the negatives too much then too.

Yes, God is love, and when we know God, we get to know love too, and how best to love, in all types of different situations too.

Yes, it is hard to grow without the waters of love nurturing us into growth.
If our soul lives in a barren heart, devoid of a connection to God's love, we will have a much harder time, living from love, and growing from love, into who we need to be for God.

Love remains mostly dormant going by the state of affairs of the world around us.
It is more about ego and greed that is at play here.
We know what works in our interests and what we need to do, but we will have none of that as we race ahead on the path to self-annihilation.
We need to take a pause but then some wait to steal a march when we do so.
Maybe a messiah will step in soon enough and drive some sense in us.

The energy of love is sorely needed in the world right now, to drive it in right ways, and to stop it from going backwards, down the path of greed, power, and destruction.

@Shiva49 Yes, we all seem to be entranced, and dancing only to the piper's tune.
Most of us have to do so, to live in society, and to obtain food on our table, though.
A lot is forced onto us these days.

@innertalks Yes, we know what to do but are fixated on our path to annihilation.
Maybe, a Pied Piper, in the form of a few evil leaders, is having a stranglehold on us.
